This past weekend, I went on vacation, my desktop was working
*purrrfect*

 I come home on Tuesday, and it is broken… I was like WTF?!?

 I had pink and red dashes going across the screen, even during BIOS, and
when I tried to load my OS, XServer Crashed.

 Today, I opened up the case and took out the graphics card, and look
what I found. BLOWN CAPS. YAY!!!

 It is a XFX GeForce 8600GT, 256M BDDR3 (PCI-E, DVI PV-T64J-UDD3)

I went into work on Wednesday the 18^th. One of my co-workers switched shifts with me, I was working 10-7 and she 9-4. I was to go and see my boyfriend Sam, so she agreed to switch so I could easily find a ride up there to see him.

I work through my day; it is odd for me, because I normally never work short days. My breaks and my lunch were early; the day was going by fast. It hit about 3 pm, and time halted. I seen Sam, a short bearded man with long blonde hair slowly walked across the front of the store. He tried to make it so he didn’t draw attention to himself, but he was watching me out of the corner of his eyes as I smiled winking at him. He walked out of the door and my body shivered, knowing he was so close to me, but out of reach. Time slowly creep along, customer after customer, time seemed to have stopped. The only thing, the only thought that rested in my mind knew Sam was within my reach, soon to be in my arms. The only thing that jerked me out of this trance, was him walking in again, he walked along the front with a cup of coffee, and then exited again. My heart raced, knowing he was still there, waiting for me. This made all of my worries melt away, worries of it being a vision, being stood up, being lied to, being let down. Time slows down even more; it is now around 3:45, and I see him again. The man teases me by walking over to the jewelry counter, idly looking at items as I see him in my line of sight. I just wanted to slap him, or to hug him, for distracting me from the mundane tasks that Corporate America requires of me. Time creeps by and slowly inches to 4:05, a co-worker creeps up behind me and throws his items down onto the counter. He informs me he is here to relieve me. I start to have butterflies in my stomach right about now. All day I worried, and was anxious about meeting Sam, and holding him, and being with him, the man I wanted to get to know. I was anxious now knowing I would be able to do all of these things.

I slowly walk from my post, and clean up, I walk to the back of the building and spot Sam, I take his hand and pulled him along with me, not wanting to lose a second of time with him. I clock out, and we go out to his car, I am more anxious now, not because I have met him, but because I will now meet his mother, and his sister. I learn that I was anxious for noting, they are nice people. We slowly drove from Amherst to Claremont. There are some delays because of snow storms, but we make it in one piece. I spend the whole night holding Sam and talking to him, getting to know him.

I wake up with Sam in my arms; we slowly get up and welcome the new day. We walk out into his kitchen, and make coffee, and make breakfast. We talk as I help him clean up, making life easier for him and everyone else. We spend the day talking, taking walks, and slowly getting to know each other. We make dinner, and then fall asleep in each other’s arms.

It is my last day with Sam for awhile. I have grown close to this man, and don’t want to leave; thinking out it brings me to tears. I slowly work through the day, and relaxed with Sam as well. I help him clean up some more, and got my things together. Around 8pm, my friend Shiloh comes and picks me up, and takes me back to her place for a party I helped get together at her and her mate’s house. I cried for almost an half-an-hour after leaving Sam. I have fallen for him, and now know it.

I arrive in Brookline around 9pm, and enter the house of fur. Everyone is here already: Alison, Anec, Artic, Corin, Ilobmirt, Kit, T-Fox, Tucker, Sliver and last but not least Sy. I start making my round, taking pictures, hugging everyone and smiling. We make an impromto visit to WalMart, we buy all of their glow sticks, and a collar for myself. We danced and partied out way into the next day,

Everyone wakes up to Sliver showing up with his fiancé Raksha, They come bearing the gift of donuts. Everyone piles down and has there breakfast. Most of the guys left for a trip to Salem, Anec and Tucker to BestBuy, and the rest of us were out of run errands and hang out.

Shortly before the girls and I got to leave, Arctic noticed that the box of donuts caught on fire… I put the fire out with the extinguisher, but we spend the next three hours cleaning up the baking soda from the dry extinguisher. After we scrub the whole house down, and cleaned everything we head out. It is now about 1pm. We head down to Nashua to Fun Land. This is my first time being in such an arcade, I was excited. I slowly made my way around the machines, and the games. I won some tickets, but Arctic and Shiloh kept on hitting the jack pots, it was great! I was happy to them. Together they won over 4000 tickets. I won about 1000 and Raksha won around 500. I am looking at the prizes on display, and the girls come over and hand me there ticket receipts. I give them a confused look, and the girls say; these are for you. I am now shocked, they are giving me more than 4500 tickets! I almost fall over because of it, but I say thank you and send them away, plotting and planning on what to do to thank them, and remember I heard Arctic talking about how she wanted one of the chairs that were there, and I look up at it, and I decide to redeem some of the tickets for it, a present for Arctic, and for group use. I decide to but that, 4 rubber bats, 4 bracelets to spread the gift for everyone. The girls now start to yell at me for doing this, them wanting me to have spent it on myself, and I laugh at them and tell them to get over themselves and to come on.

We leave fun world and head around town, we visit the mall, and then we visit one of the local variety shops, this is my first time in a shop that have an 18/21+ section in it. IT was a blast, and I found a bunch of stuff I now plan on saving for.

We head back to Brookline, and I discover we have a new visitor. We pull up and find a bonfire going; Anec, Tucker, Sy, Logarth, T-Fox and Ilobmirt are standing around watching it. We have a fun time until almost 3am, including burning a laptop, among other wood, and paper products.

We all wake up, and start to make breakfast and lazy about. It is a slow morning and everyone is just relaxing. Around 1pm, Shiloh and I took Ilobmirt back home to Mass, and on the way back had to drive though a snow storm. We returned around 5pm and relaxed with everyone else watching Dr. Who. It is a slow and fun day, a good time to whine down after a few days of crazy.

I am happy that I am getting out more, and experiencing life, instead of being cooped up inside of my apartment. I am experiencing love, companionship, and friendship. Life is getting back to normal after almost two years of iritic depression.

I guess it is that time of year, where I make random decisions, which I don’t think through first, and end up costing me more money in the end!

This year… It is switching from T-Mobile to Verizon Wireless. I have been with T-Mobile since 2005, and like Wal-Mart T-Mobile basically goes to manufactures and get phones for cut throat rates, which end up costing in manufacturing and quality in the end. You ask me, how can I say this? Since 2005, I have had over 20 phones with T-Mobile because of poor workmanship, and software issues. I have been through so many warranty exchanges, it is not EVEN funny. I have a semi-complete list of the phones I have had in general at http://wolfnix.net/?pg=comp.

Anyways, I am not here to completely blast T-Mobile, I love their customer service, and I loved there coverage (loved, it was good in Buffalo, but not in NH). I enjoyed their MyFaves plan a lot, as well… But, I am at the point where I need my cell phone to work everywhere I go, to be able to be in contact with my friends, family, and the likes. I had a recent event where, I was taken from work in an ambulance, and rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua… After I was discharged, I was trying to find a ride home, and I couldn’t use my cell phone. No, not because of the fact it was a hospital, because I had NO service, in the middle of the 2nd largest city in NH. A city T-Mobile says they have full coverage in… After, I left the hospital and went over a friend’s house; I had yet again no coverage. But, my friend’s Verizon cell phone had full bars.

So I started to think… This week when I get paid, I was planning on replacing my T-Mobile Shadow. This past weekend, I was at work and thinking as I worked, about money, about my budget, what I was going to do or get and then it came forward all of a sudden. Why not see how much it will cost to switch to Verizon? So, on my first 15 minute break I took a walk back to the connection center, and had the associate there try it out for me. I wanted to know how much of a deposit I would need to put down, and all of that jazz. After a minute or two, we learned, NO DEPIOST required, and… That I qualified for there no activation fees deal that was going on at the time… So since I was on break, I said, well hell with let’s get me a new phone! They had the Palm Centro on special at the time, $0.00 with a two year contract, and a data plan. I have had a data plan with T-Mobile since, well forever, so naturally I would take up one on *ANY* cell phone I got. The Centro helps me get back into the groove of things after my shadow broke, and it is my way into Verizon… I plan on getting the HTC Touch Pro at some point, but I will end up paying full retail for it, but the Centro is good for now.

So, now I am with Verizon, after this month once my taxes come in. I will no longer have a line of service with T-Mobile. My ex still will have one under my name, I don’t like fucking people over, so as long as he doesn’t fuck me over, we will be fine.

I ended up getting the Select 450 Min plan, which has unlimited nights and weekends, unlimited in calling, 450 peak minutes, and unlimited txt/pic/flx/im. I also got the unlimited email and data plan added on as well. For working at WalMart, I get 20% off my monthly bill, and 25% off accessories. With, tmobile I got 15%, so it is better in the money sense as well…

Chris, Hedi (A friend of Chris and I), April (Chris’s Sister) and myself all went to Club 313 in Manchester, NH last week. Here are some pictures!! We had a lot of fun, and this was the first time out since I moved here! 313 is a awesome LGBT club as well, offering something for everyone, any age!

Wow, I can’t believe how fast time has been flying. On March 11th, I will have lived in New Hampshire for Seven Months. I can’t believe it has been that long! It still feels like I walked off the train at Worcester’s Union Station.

Alrite, I got my new glasses, and I love them. Here are two pictures of me with them on.

Now you notice these are really nice photos, for my camera phone. That is because I also made another purchase, then I mentioned in my “Glasses and PC Parts” post.

I bought a Kodak Z885 from Wal-Mart for just under $150. It is a 8.1 MP camera, with a 5x Optical Zoom. It is just what I was looking for, in a good price range.

The US Government has finally agreed on a package for there Stimulus package, they say they will be out starting in May, and should be out by the end of summer. They have agree for $300-$600 per person as long as the earn more then $3,000 and under $75,000. Couples will get up to $1,600 and families will get there rate, plus $300 per child.

More money, is a good thing. Hopefully it is not too late!

Hey!!

I got my Federal Taxes back. They are almost completely gone, as fast as I got them!!

I ordered my glasses, and had an eye exam. My vision has gotten worse since I got these in (2004/2005?). My script was R: -5.75 L: -6.25 and now it is R: -6.50 L: -7.25, that was $65 (the exam). I couldn’t get the rimless frames i wanted, because I have a high prescription so I got a pair of semi-rimless (I will post pictures of before and after).

I *just* ordered my graphics card from NewEgg. I had to order a new PSU too, since adding the card to my current set up would blow up my system. Since I am on a budget I ordered XFX GeForce 8600GT XXX 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 , that is SLI ready too. The PSU is the ENERMAX Liberty ELT400AWT ATX12V 400W Power Supply, which is modular, so you know all those lose wires we all hate, that is no more! It all cost less then $200, so I was happy.

My evaluation is *today* so wish me luck!!

This is a update! I know I haven’t updated in awhile, sorry!!!

I am alive, I am as good as I can be! I have been working a lot, and by a lot I mean *a lot*. I have been working an average of 40 hours every week since October, and more during December.

Work is going alright. I have my evaluation this week, or next. I am sure it will go alright! I have been talking with my Supervisors, and my old manager they have all said I have been doing better! I have a new manager now, hopefully that will not effect my evaluation all that much. She has not been all that nice to me since she has started. She asks asks and asks, but never says thank you. She is also very rude with here comments. Hopefully it stops after the evaluation, or we are going to have a problem. Currently, at work I have worked in every department on the food side, expect for Frozen. I am only coded for Div 24 (Meats, Seafood, Deli), plus I worked in Produce, I just don’t know how to say no.

My taxes come in this week. Fed tomorrow, and State on Friday! I need to buy new glasses, save for a car, and buy a new video card. Wish me luck!!

I will post more information as I can! (New pic of me, before and after glasses. Plus information about the graphics card!)

Well, I search up in my blog, and found my resolutions from last year!

They were

1. To Lose Weight, at least 50 pounds
2. To be depressed less (Chris helps me with this!!)
3. To let myself be closer to others
4. To cut down on the soda
5. To do better in school (3.7 last semester)
6. To blog more (started with this post)

Looking over 2007, I have done most of these!

Since I moved from Buffalo, to Milford I have dropped from 450-460lbs to 394lbs.
I have been depressed less then I was in 2006.
I have made close friends with people, (Jason and his wife for example).
I have also cut down on soda, I used to drink 4-5 litres a day, now I drink maybe a 20oz or two.
My GPA dropped though, went from 3.7 to 3.5, and my cumulative is a 3.65 now (My grades went 4, 3.3, 3.7, 3.5. I guess that is okay?)
I did blog more in 2007, not so much after I moved though!
